Organic Farm Fresh Beef, Pork, and Poultry

Organic farming is agriculture that makes healthy food, healthy soils, healthy plants, and healthy environments a priority, along with crop productivity. Old Brick Farms uses biological fertilizer inputs and management practices such as cover cropping and crop rotation to improve soil quality and build organic soil matter. By increasing the amount of organic matter in the soil, organic farmers enhance the soil’s ability to absorb water, reducing the impacts of drought and flooding. Improving soil organic matter also helps it to absorb and store carbon and other nutrients need to grow healthy crops, which, in turn, are better able to resist insects and diseases.

Customers can buy Beef and Pork by the piece or in 1/10th boxes.

Grass Fed Angus Beef

Our Angus beef is grass-fed from start to finish.

Generally, grass fed beef is considered to be a healthier option than grain-fed beef. Pound for pound, it has less total fat, and therefore less calories.

The nutritional content of that fat is also different. For example, grass fed beef has as much as five times the amount of omega-3 fatty acids as regular grain fed beef.

Our Apple Finished Berkshire Pork is Preferred by Chefs

Heritage pork is marbled with fats that help a human body stay healthy and strong, thanks to beneficial fatty acids (mentioned above) that lower cholesterol. It is also high in vitamin D and void of harmful trans-fats.

Our family loves to farm! Especially old school farming. Pre-WWII style. Long before the advent of petroleum and chemical fertilizers, fertility was driven by rotating animals on land, compost, and working with nature instead of against her.

Chicken Raised on Pasture

Our chicken boilers and layers are rotated on pasture behind cattle where they can run and scratch and eat all the bugs and grass they can find.

Free-range chickens are happier, healthier chickens, so they produce tastier meat. Some believe this is due to lower cortisol levels, which can toughen up meat, or to increased exercise that better develops their muscles, creating a juicier texture.

Beyond Organic and Nutrition Produce

Old Brick Farm produce is grown without chemicals or pesticides. You can be assured of truly healthy fruits and vegetables!

How your food is grown or raised can have a major impact on your mental and emotional health as well as the environment. Organic foods often have more beneficial nutrients, such as antioxidants, than their conventionally-grown counterparts and people with allergies to foods, chemicals, or preservatives may find their symptoms lessen or go away when they eat only organic foods.

Little to No-Till Produce

Our produce is raised without insecticides and chemical anything.

Not only does organic production help reduce public health risks, mounting evidence shows that food grown organically are rich in nutrients, such as Vitamin C, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus, with less exposure to nitrates and pesticide residues in organically grown fruits, vegetables, and grains when compared to standard non-organic farming.

Apple Cider and Juices

We press other juices from Concord Grapes, Bartlett Pears, and more on site. Nothing but 100% juice.
